Spellcasting, with no AoO???

You cannot take an AoO against someone that casts a quickened spell. That's lame if you do, IMO.

And unfortunately, I missed that discussion because I hadn't joined here yet. Too bad.

Besides, what part of this is confusing to everyone?

Cast a quickened spell [Free][AoO: No]
Description: Self explanatory.

Notice [AoO: No] part? Huh? Anybody? Oh well. I do agree that they can be counterpselled with another quickened spell, but I won't let a quickened spell set off a trigger. That's REALLY lame. Every class has it's advantages over the other. But this would destroy the one big advantage that a wizard has over all the classes. I won't be a part of that. Unless...someone wants to point me to the old thread? I can go study up on this if you know where it is.

Ok, my bad, that thread was on a still, silenced spell, not a quickened spell.

BTW - I've noticed that you seem to use a lot of sarcastic tones in your posts, moreso than most people.

I remember that thread! I had been here less then 2 days and already embarrased the heck out of myself! Ahh...fond memories.

Anyways, I know I can get pretty sarcastic, but that's what happens when someone gets me in a huff. Only really happens in the morning. Just remember that no matter what I say, every has IMHO applied to it. Also remember that it is never personal. Sometimes it takes a bit of sarcasm to cut through some people's pigheadedness before they finally open up a little and actually start listening instead of just shouting, "wrong, wrong, wrong...". Oh well. I'm not a veteran of message boards so maybe I just haven't learned to deal with it.
