Spelldancer from Forgetten Realms (Magic of Faerun) can manipulate spells affected by meta magic feats.
My question: If a metamagic feat increases the required spellslot for that spell to a level above level 9th, can it still be affected by spelldance or does it require Epic Spellcasting?
Maybe an example makes my question clearer. An Spelldancer with caster level 8 and spell level 4 attempts to reduce the level of a Persistent(+6) Greater Invisibility(+4). Normally this spell requires a spell slot of level 10 ( 4 + 6). The question is if the Spelldancer can even ATTEMPT to reduce the spelllevel to 4 by performing the spelldance.
Please give me some reference if possible to nail this question with certainity.
Thanks
