The friend had to use up a spell for a day, after all. Say your party doesn't have a cleric, but it does have a spellfire wielder and a wizard. Spellfire wielder sucks up a 4th level spell from the wizard, then uses the 4 stored spellfire levels to heal the figher of 8 points of damage. It certainly doesn't replace a cleric and it certainly isn't as effective as a cure critical wounds spell, so what's the harm?
andargor said:Out of memory, doesn't the Spellfire Wielder PrC allow healing 1d4+1 hp per spellfire level expended?
andargor said:Hence he would heal 4d4+4, or 8-20 hp.
kreynolds said:I'd say that it would depend on his character's personality. If he unleashes spellfire frequently, go with Constitution Score - 3d6 (allow 0 as a possible result). If he's the type to preserve spellfire to be used as a last resort, or to better hide that he is a wielder, go with Constitution Score - 1d6.
