What's weird is the first thing that jumped out at me reading this was that you were missing an 'h' in "the". I hadn't even really read the thing yet and I had already noticed that. How odd.

While I am not the best speller, it does annoy me to no end when people use the wrong, but correctly spelled, words that are close...such as using 'to' instead of 'too' ie. "too much coffee." as opposed by 'to much coffee'.

Arrrgh!

Your write.

What constraints are there on the letters not in the first or last positions? Do they have to be a permutation of the correct letters? If not, do they have to be the right number of letters?

It would be nice if someone could track down the actual article.

I suspect that this is more evidence in support of the finding that people lie to pollsters.

"I can't tell this guy I can't read this, he'll think I'm a looser."

Never trust the results of any survey unless you know how it was done.
