But I will say that the approach to gods and religions found in the original Al-Qadim stuff and, a bit later, in the original Eberron stuff was my favorite from any D&D settings. It's a shame to see WotC not only move away from that (which is not a surprise; AQ and Eberron were the only settings that took the approach they did, and Eberron was far more explicit about it than AQ was) but to actively decry it in official material.</blockquote>
