Same here. I think of them as Prussian, specifically.

The more I think of it, you're probably right; Prussian army would fit them better (and come closer to the whole "Klingon" vibe that others get).

Paladin Penguins? I prefer Antarctic Antipaladins Attacking upon Airborne Attack-swine. Evil is the penguin! Dark its eyes and darker still its cold little heart!

But the bard sounds pretty damn cool, though. Don't forget tap shoes!

While I like the Giff, and all things Spelljammer, I can't help but have one thought echoing through my head whenever I see a humanoid-ish Hippo:

"Did you get that thing I sent you?"

I need to stop watching certain shows.

You didn't play Spelljammer in its heyday, did you? When you can have ships designed by gnomes and powered by giant hamsters the size of cows running around on wheels attached to the outside of the ships, hippo people aren't the worst/weirdest thing about a setting.
