Nevermind the teaser trailers. I still think its Doc Ock since that's obviously Peter Parker dressed up as Doc Ock pulling the mask off to prove that Spidey and Peter are 2 separate people. It might be convoluted enough to work.

My prediction:
Since Dr Conners does the lizard research to regrow a limb (originally lost in Vietnam from a grenade I think), I'm thinking Doc Ock rips one off.

Having read the book already, I can state there are a couple of twists in the story that surprised me including who is under the mask.

About the Spidey in-fighting banter...

It blew my mind away in Spidey one when him and Goblin were in J.J.J's office and Spidey says something like "Hey junior, why don't you let mom and dad talk for a minute".

That was a golden Spiderman moment if there ever was one. I do hope they give us more of the Spidey-banter in the next movie.
