Spirit Tempest PP - rule question

Mengu

First Post
Healing Guides says:

Healing Guides (11th level): When you restore hit points with your healing spirit power, any ally adjacent to or within a conjuration or a zone that you created with a shaman power or a shaman paragon path power also regains hit points as if he or she were adjacent to your spirit companion.

Here is a snippet from healing spirit power:

Effect: The target can spend a healing surge. If the target does so, one ally adjacent to your spirit companion, other than the target, regains 1d6 hit points.

Is Healing Guides trying to infer this Nd6 healing to *all* allies in or next to a zone? Or is there a feat that heals all allies adjacent to the spirit to make use of Healing Guides? I'm a little unclear on the wording here, but maybe I'm just being thick. As it stands, Healing Guides reads to me like it does nothing. I'm sure it's supposed to do something.

Maybe this is something like the Bear Shaman Spirit Boon that doesn't seem to work with the Nd6 healing as written, but it does because CS (or FAQ don't remember) says it does.

Healing Guides extends the effect from Healing Spirit to include all your allies that are adjacent to any of your conjurations or zones you created using a Shaman/Shaman PP power instead of just one ally that is adjacent to your Spirit Companion.
