Spirited Away

Ya. Hayao Miyazaki is great. We have several of his movies and enjoy all of them. Kiki's Delivery Service was the first one we got, then watched Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away and Castle in the Sky. In fact, my wife just wrote a paper on Spirited Away. We found Kiki to be the one best suited for young viewers and Princess the most adult, but my son now loves Princess more than the others. Go figure. We are probably doing irreperable psychic harm to him :)

And I just want to say for the record that I have now reached the limits of my anime knowlege.

Go rent it immediately -- best movie ever!

Set aside time to watch it uninterupted -- great for the whole family!

I'm not sure how far back my anime knowledge goes. I've seen quite a few. Some japanimae movies that I've seen I like better than regular movies.

Yes, I have seen some japanimae movies in the theatre. Though, most of them that I have seen were in Japan. Don't ask me what their titles were, since at the time (even now) I couldn't read Katakana/Kanji/Hiragana (ugh, can't remember what it is called now....)

My favorite ones are Princess Monokoe, Akira, Vampire Hunter D, Vampire Hunter D (II), Amaritige III, Urotsukidoji: Legend of the Overfeind (NC17) and a couple more. I'd have to check my DVD changer to see what other I have.
