There's the spell "Animate Dead" but as far as I can see nothing like exocisim (I don't think Banish would do) . So if I want to have a Priest lay a spirit to rest (or a Psichic to channel one) what do I need ?

Anybody else running a game where ghosts/ Spirits come into play ? This is more of a side adventure for my campaign, the hero's go to a haunted lighthouse but one of the Spirits provide the clues to solve a mystery.

Doc_Souark,

I would definitely recommend checking out www.12tomidnight.com. We're a new e-publishing company specializing in material for supernatural/paranormal d20 Modern adventures. There's a lot of free campaign setting material on the site you may find useful in your adventure, including mp3s of ghost recordings (called Electronic Voice Phenomenon) you can use in-game.

While we don't have gaming instructions on exorcism per se, I'll bet if you posed your question on our forums that you'd get more than one reply to fit your needs.

Urban Arcana -- I'd make Exorcism an Incantation.

I'm at work right now; I'll look over the specifics when I get home, but I think the Incantation system would work well for this. Make it a contested roll, with varying degrees of failure and success. This way, you can have exorcism attempts that could last for days... a la "The Exorcist."
