Spring attack & charge

Shadow64's got it. *nod* Despite what the Sage says, I don't think it's a good idea to allow this option for Spring Attackers. Would require "at least" another feat before such a special ability should be bestowed. upon the character. The rules as they currently exist do not allow this usage. I probably wouldn't either, its just silly power crunchiness.

I don't allow this combination, either, even though the sage says otherwise. I disagree with him on this one.

Also, the SRD does have Charging as a full attack action, but this currently is contrary to the PH which describes it as a special standard action. I assume that the revised PH will follow the SRD with the full attack action for charging. I play it that way already.

Does this mean that you could take a 5ft step before the charge as with a full-attack? Of course, it would have to be in a straight line with the intended charge... ;-)
