Spring Attack vs. Opponent with reach

Probably a question that has been asked a million times and answered as much, but here goes:

Say you have Steve the Spring Attack master. Steve is medium and uses a weapon with 5' reach. Steve wants to attack Bronk, the Spiked-chain wielding Ogre Barbarian.

If Steve spring attacks Bronk, are all the AoO's that would be provoked by moving within a threatened area suppressed, or just those for entering and exiting the square in which Steve will make his attack?

Thanks in advance.

What youspoonybard said. Plus, it's not "all those AoO's". Moving within a threatened area provokes one AoO. Even without Spring Attack, Steve could run a circle around Bronk and only provoke one AoO.

Is this true with 3.5?

I seem to remember some were that IF the enemy has a AoO he can take it as meny times as it is provoked.

Yeah, under attacks of opportunity, it says you may take as many as you want against a single person in a single round (given that you have enough due to combat reflexes or something similar), but no more than one on that person due to movement. It's on page 138, at the end of the Making Attacks of Opportunity section.

Yep. You're thinking of the change from 3E's "one AoO per opponent" being switched to "one AoO per provoking situation."

In 3E a person could move through your reach and cast a spell, and you'd only get 1 aoo--even if you had combat reflexes. In 3.5 if you've got combat reflexes you can make two aoo attacks.

Anyway, here's the SRD quote:
"Combat Reflexes and Additional Attacks of Opportunity: If you have the Combat Reflexes feat you can add your Dexterity modifier to the number of attacks of opportunity you can make in a round. This feat does not let you make more than one attack for a given opportunity, but if the same opponent provokes two attacks of opportunity from you, you could make two separate attacks of opportunity (since each one represents a different opportunity). Moving out of more than one square threatened by the same opponent in the same round doesn’t count as more than one opportunity for that opponent."
