The August 1st was in one of the threads a day or so ago.

Hi guys. I announced this date (august 1) to the retailers on Friday of last week.

Unless there's a tremendous error at the printers, expect to see the game then.

We're looking forward to getting the books in the office. I've been pestering Ken and Pat for months for information on it, since I'm planning an in-office game. (For those who care, I'll detail some of it here after the release of the game...but not too much, those guys want to play in it, and i know they read these forums!)

Yeah. I've been waiting ages and ages for this. I liked the original Spycraft's version of the d20 system a lot, but I found the original classes in the book to be somewhat lacking for how I wanted to use it. And I didnt' want to have to shell out $100s to buy the various Shadowforce Archer books to get more core classes (especially since I hated SFA)

2.0 fixes that, with a lot more core classes in the main book.

There's been some spoilers and teasers posted in the Control Transmissions forum of the Alderac boards, though you've got to hunt through some of the threads to find them all. It also looks like multi-page previews will be going up on the website soon.

Nearly 500 pages, full color, $40...

We've been waiting until close to release to push the product too heavily. As we've found in the past, pushing too hard too early actually works against you .

Expect a new page to show up in the RPG section by the end of the week. It'll contain text and graphic previews, the cover and cover image, release information (August 1, 496 pages, $40), and more.

It will have its own XP chart, and everything else that OGL-ality implies.
