Spycraft: I just ran my first game

I'll admit to being relatively ignorant of d20 license issues - but I typed up my chase cards directly from the book. SpyCraft is not open content.

Unless I'm mistaken?

As a whole, no its not. But major sections of it are. You'd have to look in their OGC declaration to be sure, but most reasonable publishers make anything mechanics oriented OGC. The one limitation is VP/WP and defense factor in spycraft, which is closed content that they used by permission from Wizards.

Sounds like you had a good game going.

Incidentally, the "underworld" under Disney - the city under the city - is vast and deep. Lotta stuff down there....

Did you have plans or something of the 'underworld' or did you go by total conjecture? If they are plans, are they on line anywhere?

Just made it up. In real life I'm sure the floorplan is all confidential, and anyways they probably don't have hidden cloning labs. I hope.

Baron, It's quite different than Feng Shui. Less "wahoo", more tactical. Feng Shui is designed to let you do cool stuff while totally ignoring fundamental rules of gravity, firearms, and time. Not so with Spycraft. I love Feng Shui - but the game's sort of iffy for anything other than really really cool fights. Spycraft is very skill based, so it has a different feel.

Ascending Crane, thank you for being willing to email it to me! I'll be running this (at a local game store) every 3-4 months, advancing the PCs forward 3 levels every time I run it. Your sheets will really help.

It's just practice -- and God, you tried running vehicle combat with the D20Modern rules yet?

Have you? I think d20M it is a better system for this.

Sounds super handy

I've just started a Spycraft game myself and would appreciate a copy of those summary sheets as well. Thanks in advance!!
