One question, Mark - will you be doing (as an expansion or a separate product) a searchable PDF version of the new psionics rules, divine rules, and the other products recently released by Wizards as open content? That's omething I would definitely lay money down for.

Previous customers will be receiving a FREE upgrade when I add those new sections to the bundle.

You did get this most recent update, didn't you, Henry? If so, lovin' it? If not, my friend, drop me an email so we can make sure you get it quickly.

There's room on that index page for quite a few additional PDFs to be added to the Bundle (for those who haven't made their purchase yet, please check out the Demo Version).

Congrats on the glowing review. Just to let you know, I've been using it extensively over the past few weeks while working on my little campaign setting.

I just purchased the bundle today. What is there is great. Though I was under the belief that it would contain the complete SRD. I was surprised to see that there was no psionic or epic sections. Will the missing sections be added soon? Will they be provided as an upgrade?

Great product though!

Currently the Basics, Spells, Magic Items, and Monster (Standard and Stat Block) sections are in the Bundle. The Epic and Psionic sections have just recently been cleaned up in the regular SRD and those sections are in the works for addition to the Bundle. As always, all Upgrades to the Bundle will be added FREE for previous customers. I can't give you an exact date but I've been Upgrading the Bundle regularly since last summer with releases about every two months.

Other Upgrades coming include the d20 Modern and d20 Future sections, DM and Player Reference Sheets, Spell, Monster, and Magic Item Cards and more as they come to me...

After the glowing reviews on this thread, I thought I'd take a look.

Yes, it's obvious a pile of work went into it. The linking is an order of magnitude beyond any d20 .pdf I've heard of...

...but I still won't be buying it. :(

The big reason: Readability issues. :( :(

The body text is in a sans-serif font which I find hard to read onscreen. By the time I get the text big enough that it's readable, the column is so wide that my eyes have to traverse several inches. That leads to eyestrain pretty quickly. With justification turned on, the intra-word kerning is not wonderful, either. (It almost appears that there was a TrueType vs. PostScript font clash.)

There are some sections (spell lists) that are not only in a sans-serif font, but in all-caps as well. Mixed case is significantly easier to read than all-caps. Bolding that font makes it even worse: the words become so visually heavy that I find myself wanting to squint at the page. Further, every other line is on what looks like 30% grey -- too much saturation for a background for small, dense type.

Aside from the readability issues... this is quite nice. One other thing I would find useful: bookmarks grouping of feats by type, in addition to the alphabetical group. In other words, where the bookmarks under Feats are currently
-Prerequisites
-Types of Feats
-Fighter Bonus Feats
-Item Creation Feats
-Metamagic Feats
-Feat Descriptions
+Feat Name [Type of Feat]
[alphabetical list follows]
what would be even more useful is
-Prerequisites
-Types of Feats
+Fighter Bonus Feats
[alphabetical list follows]
+Item Creation Feats
[alphabetical list follows]
+Metamagic Feats
[alphabetical list follows]
-Feat Descriptions
+General Feats
[alphabetical list follows]
+Complete Feat Listing by Name [Type of Feat]
[alphabetical list follows]
I'm not suggesting that the feat texts should be included multiple times, just that each type of feat in the list above should have additional bookmarks that redirect to the appropriate item in the text. That makes it easier for the person who needs to consider *only* one type of feat (for character creation, for example).

Out of curiosity... would you guys mind sharing the product name(s) of the software you used on this project, aside from Acrobat? (This tech writer's a FrameMaker nut, so I'm always curious to know what other software people use to create their PDFs, *especially* when they're well-linked.)
