SRD and Starting Funds

I have yet to buy 3.5.* I am using the SRD for all my rules and character building (when not with my group).

Knowing all that: Where in the SRD is the starting wealth for characters?

Am I just somehow missing it? Or was it considered "Worldbook" specific and not included?

That is very usefull (I have copied it to mine comp), BUT it seems to be missing level the first.

If someone out there can either tell me where in the starting money is for 1st level, or (pretty please) post it from the PHB/

Or just mention if it is the same as 3.0 (which I do indeed possess).

The SRD doesn't include the gold for level 1 because it is a random amount based on a die roll. 3.5 is the same as 3.0; the only difference is that the 3.5 PHB includes the average roll for all classes.

I've yet to email WotC to ask them how they came up with that table. Other tables in the game follow some kind of mathematical progression. This one clearly doesn't.
