SRD in HTML?

So I grabbed the pdf SRD files that 'reveal' created and posted here on the boards. He did an excellent job on them. But I was wondering if anyone has (or was planning to) put the SRD into some nice HTML pages. If so, is it something that will be available for all of us?

I want to do it myself, and maybe I will, but it wouldn't be any time soon. So I thought I'd see if someone else is already in process.

I did and made a table of contents page linking to the rest of the pages. I used Word's "save as Web Page" tool. I'm told it looks great on a Mac.

I didn't put in the psionics stuff, and I need to add the legal page, and I don't really have anywhere to host it. If you can take a 1-2MB attachment drop me an e-mail at ericnoah@charter.net.

Yes, I'm in the processing of HTML'izing and making the SRD screen-readable. I did this with 3.0, and made it into a Microsoft CHM file which was mildly popular. I intend to do it again with 3.5 as time permits.

I am also working on an html version which will be available for download from my web site when I finish it.

Eric, I can host yours as well if you'd like, though 2 megs seems rather large for a zipped html srd. I'm guessing you didn't clean up any of word's garbage?

I have a program that converts word documents to HTML without any of the garbage. If you'd like a copy email me at tomender@ptd.net and I'll ship it out to ya tonight. It's freeware so nothing illegal going on here.

Maybe we should have a contest--see who can create the best versions of the SRD. We can have an HTML category and a PDF category.

Yes it is for PC. But I'm sure similar programs exist for Mac try http://www.download.com

You've really piqued my curiousity now. What's your timeline?

I'll post a topic for a competition. I can't offer a prize, though, so there wouldn't be much motivation for people to enter. Other than bragging rights.
