Well, since search is disabled for the time being I'm just going to ask.

1) Do temporary hit points from the multiple castings of the same spell (vampiric touch) stack?

2) Do negative levels from multiple castings of Energy Drain or Enervation stack?

I'm under the impression that the answers are 1) No and 2) Yes.

2) Yes.

Penalties always stack, I think.

Instantaneous Effects: Two or more spells with instantaneous durations work cumulatively when they affect the same target.

Stacking Effects: Spells that provide bonuses or penalties on attack rolls, damage rolls, saving throws, and other attributes usually do not stack with themselves. More generally, two bonuses of the same type don't stack even if they come from different spells (or from effects other than spells; see Bonus Types, above).

1) no, it's a bonus or penalty. The greater effect of the two castings applies.

2) yes, it isn't a bonus or penalty. Further, the duration is "instantaneous".
