Standing ruins of tower map?

Voadam

Legend
I've got high level players flying across an empty old battlefield approaching a ruined tower that has a drow priestess mounted on a collosal spider clinging to the outside of the tower 40' up. Anybody have a link to a good battlemap for this scene?

I'm not sure if this will help; I used it for an article in my zine...

Love the drow priestess/clingy spider. Very cool!

She has trickery domain so her mount is invisible. She was too until she flamestriked the party from range. Now it looks like she is floating there 40' off the ground. Since the PCs are all extremely familiar with 1e drow (half the party played them in my campaign for more than a decade) I think they all think she is just levitating. :)

The reveal for the spider mount is coming soon, the druid master of many forms wildshaped into a giant eagle is going to charge her to close the 200' distance, provoking an AoO for entering reach, and then the readied bite. :)

Thanks for the map but I'm mostly looking for an outside battlefield map. I don't expect the combat to enter inside the tower.

By the way, thanks for putting together Iridia, I recently downloaded your 50 issue compilation.

Personally, I'd do it up in Lego. :)

If it was a face to face game at my house I'd use my son's wooden building blocks. If it was at my brother's house I could use the fuzzy stuffed animal spider I gave my niece. But its an e-mail game so I'm looking for a pdf online image to show them.

[Ruleslawery]You provoke an AoO for leaving a threatened square, not for entering reach. But it won't matter if the spider is large enough to have 10ft reach as the eagle will have to leave the 10ft ring to close to melee.[/Ruleslawery]

There are plenty of good images of ruined towers on google image search, but a brief survey did not reveal any maps.

except maybe http://www.wizards.com/dnd/images/mapofweek/TheOldTower.jpg

That looks like a retriever in the bottom right foreground, so it's pretty damn big. The base would be at least 80 feet across, probably more like 120'-150'. That'd make the spire 50'-100' in diameter. Does that sound about right?
