Standing ruins of tower map?

[Ruleslawery]You provoke an AoO for leaving a threatened square, not for entering reach. But it won't matter if the spider is large enough to have 10ft reach as the eagle will have to leave the 10ft ring to close to melee.[/Ruleslawery]

There are plenty of good images of ruined towers on google image search, but a brief survey did not reveal any maps.

except maybe http://www.wizards.com/dnd/images/mapofweek/TheOldTower.jpg

You are right, technically I should have said it will trigger the readied attack when entering the colossal spider's 30' reach and then the AoO as he takes his next five feet of movement. :)

That looks like a retriever in the bottom right foreground, so it's pretty damn big. The base would be at least 80 feet across, probably more like 120'-150'. That'd make the spire 50'-100' in diameter. Does that sound about right?

I didn't give exact distances, but she was hiding inside the ruined tower with her 60' spider mount.

anything approximately close would work great though.

Actually, WotC really ought to talk to Lego...

Bad idea. If WotC bought Lego, instead of having all the pieces you need for the item you bought, legos would be released in a random pack of 10 and they'd be collectable. They'd sell seperate intructions on how to build individual buildings/planes/ships/etc. Key pieces would be declared rare and you'd end up buying them seperately on ebay for 4 times the cost of a random pack.

A couple of years ago I found a Monte Cook adventure over at Wizards' free download section called Tower of Deception. A quick search revealed that the download is still available (though you might want to snag it quick because it may only be up for a few more months before D&D Insider yanks all the old free stuff and makes it subscription-only). The adventure comes with a nice map of a tower in a wildlands setting. You may have to resize it a tad to fit your colossal spider but the basic bones sound like they may be helpful.
