They give you a card to send in, along with shipping and handling, to redeem your AT-AT.

I hope not. That would suck. I don't want a four to six week waiting period on AT-AT purchases. When I want to crush my opponents against the feet of an AT-AT, I want to do it now.

Its going to be hard to do feet crushing with that huge base...

As an interesting note, regarding the size:

At the Disney World MGM Studio park, they have a life-sized AT-AT walker. I have a picture of me standing under it. The positioning is such that the best place to take the pic has the "head" (guns and all) looking directly into the camera. :-)

Yeah, that thing was awesome.

I'm actually down near Disney right now and went to MGM 2 days back and the AT-AT is GONE! Gah!! I was so dissappointed. I remember it from my first trip down here about 12 years ago and wanted to get a picture. :(

About the "mini": It must be mine.

I think the MGM down here in Orlando still has their AT-AT, though it has been a while since I've been down there.

While I think the idea of including a redeemable card is a nifty one and would foster the lottery-type aspect, I don't think it would be feasible. First off, who is going to pay $30-50 when they're not even likely to get an AT-AT? Second, the administration and shipping costs would be an additional burden on WotC that they surely would not want to incur.

It is kinda weird though that more people will probably end up owning the gargantuan dragon than will own the huge or large dragons.

I said it earlier in the thread, but I guess it needs to be shown again:

As for the packaging, its a single that comes with its own map(of course) and special rules.
