Judging from previous readings, this area seems to be having a heat wave. Even farther off in the distance, you can see the vague outline of the mining facility. You calculate that you still have about 5 kilometers left to go, basing this on the way the canyone curves and twists. </p><p></p><p>Derek alters his programming so that he is even better able to deal with other sentient beings. Even the relatively short time that he has spent observing Four has allowed him to incorporate what the organics call mannerisms. Distinct ways of acting or expressing oneself.
