*sigh*, another show I missed, when my VCR tape failed me. So, who is still around?

I stand by what I said in the thread for the Premier.

Restated: Next weeks epsoid has a problem with the Daedelus. I think that the computer virus in the preview is caused by the Asgard!

No way.

Halfway through right now...gah, so now no asgard sensors so limited use of the beams. This is part of the standard stargate cliche that everything cool we get we lose rather quickly.

So far, badish ep. This has happened before. If just a variation on the SG-1 ep 'The Entity," which itself wasnt that good.

Aww, Jeez, they even copy the solution from Entity. Directly.

On the bright side, Hermiod is awesome. How dare you doubt him, TanisFrey :p

Love the Asgard. Episode really wasn't the bad. Seemed like the problems were more a backdrop to all that happened back on Earth.

But again, the Asgard is the best...and gets all the Teal'c lines!! "Indeed."

I thought that the plot would involve them tossing the beaming equiment overboard to save the day. IE Hermiod aranging for the altered equipment to be removed by a coviently near by Asgard ship. The Asgard ship comming up with some BS story about "shadowing" the Daedelus because we, humans, are new to this tech.

But it turned out to be a rehashed The Entity.

I dunno, I liked the episode. I also like how they made no bones about the fact that they rehashed the solution. They came right out and said it.

I like when things like this happen, it just makes the two shows and characters in them far more connected. It worked for me and I enjoyed it.

I didn't like it. I thought it was boring and re-hashed, which it obviously was. It just seemed like filler to me; something to make us think the Wraith are smarter than we previously assumed and an excuse to promote the Major. Next weeks episode looks a lot better, especially since they're going to introduce a new main character. :)

Hermied is by far the best part of having the Daedalus on Atlantis. The part where he starts spouting lines in Asgard was great, I can just imagine him swearing or something. I liked how Sheppard couldn't stop staring... after all, I don't think he's actually encountered a true alien (i.e. not humanoid) outside of the Wraith and an Ancient, has he?

Interesting note: All of Hermiod's Asgardian lines are just english backwards.

The Asgard language is always just english backwards, but usually they have cut the words up.

Not for Hermiod.
