Not quite as good as SG-1, but a satisfying conclusion to the three-parter. I was a bit surprised the wraith wouldn't send down a few darts after the plan was enacted (trying to stay spoiler-free here). And the outcome for Ford was, for me, out of the blue but very cool.

I'm with CT on this one - its still the weakest of the 3 friday night shows and with firefly joining next week - well we'll see what happens.

Love the stuff with Ford...really didn't see any of that coming.

Also one big point: They have an Asgard!!!! ;)

Wonder if he'll stay...

Is it just me or he the Asgard not seem as anti-certain things as the female doctor acted like he was?

Asgard aren't exactly the most expressive anyway...got the feeling he was pulling the cold shoulder maneuver.

Oh, and another random thought. LOVE the design of the Daedelus.

My thoughts:

I'd rather the Marine hardass stayed around as he was. Mitch's character seemed he had just stepped from out behind his character's desk in X-Files. The head Marine would have made for much greater potential in the future, IMO.

I loved it every time the Asgard grumbled in disapproval. I almost wanted to put a Yosemite Sam hat on him...

Space so peoeple wont complain about spoilers

I liked the ep. I think I would have preferred if they had tied in the teleporter into the Zero Point Module and then into Atlantis and teleported the whole city away. I think that would have been a cleaner ending than having the hive fleet move away after the apparent self-destruct.
