Stargate RPG D20

This game will be based on the TV show Stargate SG-1, it starts in the year 2025. Knowledge of the TV show's races and Villans would be helpful, as well as knowledge of other sci-fi/fantasy TV shows and movies.
I will post links to parts of the rulebooks, I doubt that I can post the whole book, its 102 Mbs,
Looking for a group of 8-10 players, smaller is fine also, post your concept here, along with any questions

I'm interested, but more info would be good. System (d20 Modern?) and other chargen info (determining stats, etc) are helpful. Maybe timeframe too...is this the Goa'uld era, the short but sweet post-Goa'uld chaos, the Ori, or something different?

I haven't played d20 Modern before but I've got the rulebook somewhere. I'd be interested - just working my way through Season 7 at the moment, and I'd like to try something different from fantasy D&D.

Stargate D20

Well, it would be good if you are familiar with the show Stargate SG-1, not the stars so much, but the different types of races encountered
For Character Stats, roll 4d6, dont count the lowest, except for scores lower then 10, unless you want to play with a negative modifier.

Edit: Well, I've just discovered the MSRD on the Wizards site - so, if you don't mind waiting a little longer, I'll download it and read up on the system, then come up with a character.

I'm interested. I've created characters for two different d20 modern games that evaporated after a very short time. Hopefully this won't be the third.

I'll call dibs on the obligatory techno-geek. Levels in Smart Hero (obviously) and either a single level of Fast Hero to get a little combat ability or maybe straight into Field Scientist. Just to break the cliche a little, I picture a straight-arrow career military type with absolutely no tolerance for ivory tower intellectuals.
