Stargate season finale

Well, did anyone else watch this? I won't post any spoilers for the moment, but I have to admit that it was not was I was expecting. Sure we all knew where they would end up but the ending was kind of a let down. Leave's the viewer with a "now what?" type of feeling. Kudos for the battle scenes though. What did the rest of you think?

Whelp, I knew what would happen a month ago - so I was kinda expecting it. Very anticlimatic though...

I watched most of both showings, (missed part of the first but watched again to catch what I missed).

I liked it. Though, I have to wonder. What is going to happen with the VP and we didn't "find the body" of Anubis. Hmm, I also wonder what the new administator and General Hammond will be doing next season.

I was a bit confused by the ending, with regards to the new series... spoilers to follow.

So Jack didn't locate Atlantis, which may or may not be the Lost City. Where exactly is Stargate: Atlantis going to go then? It seems as if we at least have a set-up for the story of SG-1 next year - find a cure for Jack. I just don't know what SG:A is supposed to do now.

Also, in an aside, Rytek should have died. I was fully expecting someone to die, and no one did - the closest we got was Jack in stasis.

Not too sure what to make of President Hayes' reaction to Kinsey's babbling. For the moment, I'm just assuming that it was an overstated threat.

I watched, but know why I didn't pay attention. I only dislike that they used Promethious so well. They should have been decimated. Oh well.

Kinda curious if the Prometheus or the X-302s were using the Ion Cannon(s?) obtained from the Tollan or the Ion Drive they (may have) got earlier this season.

I tend to pay more attention during battles, and I think the Prometheus survived because Anubis's ships were using a shotgun effect, rather than directed fire. I don't know why, you'd figure his ships would have some deathstar type blasters.

remember, in season 6, thor upgraded the shield and weapons of the prometheus.

Anubis isn't dead? It seemed like they played up that hologram gimick up a lot. Possible that wasn't him on the ship? Almost seemed like he went out too quickly.
