Stargate SG1 - 2/26/05 *Spoilers*

HOLY CRAP!

Annubus is still alive; the Jaffa rebellion is clustered in one location, making an easy target to wipe them out; the Replicators can adjust to the frequency of the pulse weapon, Daniel is in eminent danger and all the bad guys are headed to the temple to search for some Ancient weapon!

Just a great all around episode and I'm definitely waiting with baited breath for next week. :D

Best part of the show: When Bhaal turns from Annubus, after Annubus gives the order to send the fleet to the temple, and rolls his eyes.

It was pretty good. Ive never been a fan of the replicators so hopefully that menace will evetualyl be totally wiped out soon. It is cool to have Anubis back.

Yup. The Replicators DEFINITELY have to go. They are waaaaay to derivative and out of flavor for the Stargate universe. They are like the Borg, the Cylons, and the Terminators all combined into one...and none of those belong here.

Gotta disagree about 'Nubey though. Like Apophis, I think hes come back from the dead quite enough times by now.

Eh, About Anubis...He had to come back. Baal was a HUGE step down for a villain and Anubis' death was rather...blah. Granted, so was Apophis' final death, but at least it was more definitive. Anubis' was..."He may be dead, I guess. Uh...that sucked." So I'm glad he's back, just so they can give him a definitive death.

I was rather annoyed with aspects of this episode though. While the Goa'uld Resistance subplot was nicely done...this "holy city" came out of left field. We've never heard of it before? And even worse, for years Anubis was thought dead...yet the city is holy because Anubis was thought to have risen from the dead there? :sighs: They should have used Ra, or any of the other System Lords, but not Anubis right in there. Because if for a millennia Anubis is thought dead, then why for that millennia was that city holy for the afore-mentioned reason?

That sounds rather nitpickey, I know, but I'm usually not one to nitpick things as I try to watch for the enjoyment. So when something gets to me, I rant.
