Been getting a lot of of abrupt error pages indicating "This site can't provide a secure connection" followed by "starprize.za.com sent an invalid response".

Anyone know what this is all about? Is it just me?

That's a good idea. It may well be that Malwarebytes is taking one look and noping me out of it.

Hmmm. Apparently that isn't easy to do with the non-Enterprise version of Chrome without installing an extension.

Nah, still happening to me - multiple times today. Happening mainly on my older iMac with an out of date version of the OS and Safari, so that's probably one reason it's leaking through any potential security.

Doubly odd, then. I was seeing it every day, sometimes multiple times back at the beginning of the month. Makes me wonder if there was an OS security update for Windows that staked it.

Check to see if it is the same as one of the URLs seen in the other thread. Iirc, darjr can block specific Google ads by url, but if this one is different, blocking the others won't stop it.
