Starting Forge of Fury next week: Any advice? [spoilers]

My (5) players have finished Sunless Citadel at mid-point between 3rd and 4th level, and we'll be starting Forge of Fury soon.

After reading the many threads on this adventure, I have made the following adjustments:

- The Troglodytes worship the Roper, and I have made a little drawing representing the Trogs making an offer of meat to the Roper while it holds one of their own. I'll probably make the chief a cleric. This will change the chief's tactics and make him a little more powerful

- The succubus (erinyes?) is gone and has been replaced by a Nimblewright (MMII IIRC, intelligent, agile, rapier-wielding golem) who guards the Dwarf sage's library. The Nimblewright knows some things, because it has interacted with the Duergar chief. The characters could convince it to leave this place, if they arrange for the library to be transported (not an easy task)

The party will most likely consist of:
Human Fighter (Fullblade)
Human Monk (katana)
Human rogue (flick of the wrist)
Elven Cleric (Magic/Trickery domains)
Human Illusionist (Abjuration and ? barred schools)

The characters will be hired to get rid of the orc menace, and to retrieve Durgeddin's blades for Baron Pnetium I mean Althon.

Does any one have advice or suggestions regarding this adventure?

Thanks in advance.

It sounds like you've got things covered, actually; I like your changes. So, just a couple comments.

Be careful with the dragon--if the characters are both snoopish enough to find it and silly enough to challenge it unprepared, it could really ruin their day.

If the rogue isn't doing a good enough job checking for traps, throw some made up ones in his path before he gets to the more dangerous ones or else the whole party could suffer.

If the party should be going back to someplace else to rest and they aren't, the prisoners (if they're found in time) can serve as a powerfully motivating force.

On the picture portraying the trogs and the roper, have all trogs except the one captured to be shown carrying torches, to hint at the roper's vulnerability to fire.
