Starting Gold

Failure to look at players items can lead to funny results sometimes.

After playing werewolf for 4 months. I asked to look at one of my players sheets. His equipment read:

Tie-dyed vest
Jams
Flip-flops
Calvary saber
3 computer harddrives

I was curious as to where he was actually hiding the calvary saber.

As a whole, when I am running I will occationally, go back over and refigure weights of my players equipment. What happens is people just keep tossing items on the bottom of their character sheet without really paying attention to they weights.

"What do you mean you have 40 suits of orcish chainmail for sale? Exactly where have you been carrying them? "
"My horse"
"Your going to need a new horse while your selling those suits."

Heh, I particularly like that tactic. Although, as soon as the players can afford/find a Bag of Holding, its all over.
