Jhamin First Post Mar 4, 2002 #2 You roll (or point buy or whatever) and then add the modifiers. Just like if it was an elf you would roll and then add +2 to Dex and -2 to Con. The advantage of the template is that you are both a human and a Half-Dragon therefore you get all the goodies from both.

Crothian First Post Mar 4, 2002 #3 All the templates are added the same way no matter what template being applied to what race or creature. So, create the stats as usually then add all the template goodies.
