Stephen Colbert mentions DnD and role-playing in NPR interview

Heh, go Vin Diesel.

Colbert's a lot more in your face about D&D. He knows it helps him, since it's popular amongst his target audience. Which isn't to suggest I think he's just "milking" it, but rather that I'm not surprised that he's so vocal about it.

Vin, on the other hand, seems pretty non-chalant about it. He played it, he enjoyed it, and he doesn't care one way or the other if people know. He'll talk about it fondly if asked about it, but doesn't go preaching about it.

Hey, I liked him loads in Stand By Me.

Just checked out his imdb... 86 different acting gigs?! I had NO idea...

Don't forget his books, blog and voiceover work!

I love me some Wil... :uhoh:

Recent bloggings have been about one of his sons getting into D&D and the kid having a crush on a D&D playing girl. Aaaaaaaaaw...

Ha, you see! D&D encourages pre-marital sex!

(or, if that one doesn't quite do it for you...)

Everyone knows girls don't play D&D.

Thats your existence fading away.

I remember listening to an interview of Diesel on a radio station in Philly (y100.)

They said something like:

And it says here in your bio that you were an avid player of D&D as a kid...

Diesel: Thats in my bio?

DJ: Oh oh someone is about to get fired!

Diesel: No, I did, I just didn't know it was in my bio...
