Steve Sansweet possibly confirms new changes to SW trilogy on DVD

One change I know of is that Episode 4 will feature a slightly new score, as John Williams and Lucas wanted the Imperial March to be featured in the film, as it's the only movie where it doesn't appear.

'Cause I like the movies the way they are. ;)
Lucas can do what he wants with them, he does own the rights afterall, I just hope that he doesn't expect us/me to buy them.

Supposedly the only scene change will be after Han leaves the cantina we'll see Greedo groggily lift his head up, reach into his burned shirt where Han shot him, pull out his dented lucky flask and say, "Thank God," before rising and going on his merry way.
:p

I don't know which was worse (or more pathetic): Lucas changing it so Greedo fires first, or Spielberg changing all the FBI guns to walkie-talkies in the E.T. SE.

Lucas' change was definitely worse. Spielberg at least kept the original version in open release.

I've always thought that Han Solo is a dark character, archetypal of scoundrels. So yeah, he should shoot first. But for some strange reason, George Lucas make him turn out to be an honorable scoundrel, reminiscent of Robin Hood, so he could set up a romantic story between him and the princess, which I thought it was all wrong.

Han should shoot first (but died heroically saving the princess in the last film ... he should have taken the shot and end his scene with a cheesy line: "I may have been an imperial officer and a scoundrel, Princess, but you made me a gentlemen today") and Leia should fall in love with Luke (not her brother).

;)
