Still Spell?

Ok if a wizard has a chain shirt equipped it gives him a 20% Arcane Spell Failure chance. But if he has Still Spell, would that cancel out the 20% chance of failure. Since he doesn't have to move anymore to cast a spell due to having Still Spell.

If it doesn't cancel out the percent chance, Why?

If a wizard or other arcane spellcaster casts a spell with a somatic component, any arcane spell failure chance they may have (from armor, shield, heavy load, etc.) applies. If they cast a spell without a somatic component, arcane spell failure doesn't apply.

Still Spell removes the somatic component from a spell. So no need to worry about arcane spell failure for Stilled spells.
