Stop this cheesy mage tactic.

nerf scry.

The description of the spell scrying says: You see and hear a creature. It does not say: "you see the surrounding of the subject". I'd rule that you see only the target, not the area around it. No more scry-into-the-unknown-and-teleport-there.

Scry would still be usefull: You still get to know what your target does or what it says or hears.

The wizard has other means of finding the fighter. He can even hire a rogue.
 

Of course he'll find the fighter. But he has to PINPOINT him for this tactic to work. How can the rogue pinpoint the position of the fighter exact enough? It has to be VERY precise! Can the wizard do this trick if he has never seen this room? And the fighter can hire a rogue as well...

By the way is the attack roll included in the spellcasting? If not, he could just ready a charge...

Finally buy youself an amulett (or ring or whatever) of spell immunity...
