"Bones!? Bones! You killed them all, goblin!" roars the dwarf "You have nothing to negotiate with! Let the girl go and you walk away from this cave. You'll have time to make some distance before I return once she's safe!" The dwarf gesturing wildly starting toward the goblin, big warhammer slamming this way and that. [OOC] Question: Is the floor earth or stone (I think stone, it's a cave, but checking) - is there enough loose earth to create kind of depression behind the goblin, not full sized hole, just enough that if he steps back he steps into empty space and staggers for a moment. NOTE Mold Earth (somatic only) If you target an area of loose earth, you can instantaneously excavate it, move it along the ground, and deposit it up to 5 feet away. This movement doesn’t have enough force to cause damage. Options (assuming earth) a) drop the woman in front of the goblin into the hole - dangerous, but he probably has no strength to hold her b) drop him into the hole, but he may pull to woman after him I was playing with coyote dice roller because I saw strange roll in one other game so I tried something similar: _: 2D20.LOW(1)-2D6.HIGH(1)+3 = [15, 7]-[1, 5]+3 = -1 <- this should be 7-5+3 = 5 _: 1D20-1D6-3 = [1]-[4]-3 = 0 <- thi should be 1-4-3 = -6 Apparently once you put minus sign everything else is treated as if there were brackets () around it. Check the math with anything containing more than one set of dice - might be problem with inspiration dice that subtracts things [/OOC]
