D&D 5E Storm Sorcerer

Matatabi

First Post
So I recently came across the Storm Sorcerer.
At 6th level you get an ability that says:

"If it is windy, you can use a bonus action each round to choose the direction that the wind blows in a 100‐foot radius around you. The wind blows in that direction until the end of your next turn. You have no ability to alter the speed of the wind."

So if another spellcaster uses Gust of Wind in your direction, can you use a bonus action to basically go "nah, screw that" and send it right back at him?

don't remember where Gust of Wind is, is it an Instantaneous effect, or a duration spell? If it has a duration longer than Instantaneous, I would allow this, assuming the Sorcerer turn came up during the duration. If it is instantaneous, I would rule No.

It's a concentration spell up to 1 minute.
