Thanks Caliber for the info! I'm no expert on 3E, but I'm learning fast (been playing D&D since 1979, but came into 3E late ). The rest of the guys, with the exception of Bulsarra (our DM), are complete newbies. So I'm trying to figure it out with them. Both of those things that you brought up are ones that I didn't know.

Xyffor, looks like you need to adjust your saves.

Kaze, looks like you might want to take the Scribe Scroll feat or pay someone for the scrolls at twice (?) the price that it would take for you to make them with the feat. Haven't looked at the Feat preq. to see if you could get it either.

When you say I need to add +2 to my saves, does that mean I add to Fortitude, Reflex and Will? If so, ETools had them calculated correctly after all. That's sweet. Heck, I may get through level one without dying after all. By the way, when is the projected day to actually start playing? Bulsarra? Bulsarra? Wake up, Bulsarra!!!!

Thanks for the heads up and advice, Caliber. With you and Jay both looking over my shoulders, I may just get this thing right eventually. I'll be glad when we start to play so I can see how this all ties together. Of course, I'm assuming I'll understand it then. I may be just as confused then as now. Actually, I've learned a great deal under Jay's tutelage. I'm hoping to sit down with Chris this weekend and have him walk me through some things in the PHB and teach me how to figure things ole' school. I don't learn anything using ETools. I'll adjust my character sheet and repost with Chris sometime in the next day or two -- assuming I'm suppose to add +2 to Fortitude, Reflex and Will. Look for the update all.

Depending on how much typing I can get done today you should get the first handout this afternoon.

We'll be moving toward actually starting as I begin posting additional handouts daily beginning Monday (barring any unforseen turkey incidents).

The info you get will be kind of bare bones to start but I'll fill in the gaps as we go. I didn't want to take that approach but it's either that or wait another two weeks. I'm guessing that I know which option you guys want.
