I don't think so, they represent two different product niches. Like the Basic and expert boxes. It does make me wonder if the essentials kit will go up or be replaced.

Didn’t the first Starter Set come with a hill dwarf cleric as well? I wonder how similar they are.
But the same exact price point. One is an obvious better cost per value if the buyer just reads the boxes.I don't think so, they represent two different product niches. Like the Basic and expert boxes.
I would guess a price increase is probable, or a replacement I suppose isn't unlikely. But the same exact price point. One is an obvious better cost per value if the buyer just reads the boxes.
I do think 20 is good for the starter set. I’m going to try and get one or two tomorrow, if this vaccine lets me, and I think it looks like a better pure intro.I would guess a price increase is probable, or a replacement I suppose isn't unlikely.
It is such a good box.I sure hope they dont replace the LMoP starter set, I dont mind price inflation. They could reprint with the new rule changes, but please dont remove it. It a really well done, complete, starter set.
This one seems a little light on actual rules, even if you can argue that the basic rules are free on the website.
The LMoP box set has been discontinued, is my understanding. That's why Loat Mines of Phandelver is free on D&D Beyond permanently now.I sure hope they dont replace the LMoP starter set, I dont mind price inflation.
