But the same exact price point. One is an obvious better cost per value if the buyer just reads the boxes.

I would guess a price increase is probable, or a replacement I suppose isn't unlikely.

I do think 20 is good for the starter set. I’m going to try and get one or two tomorrow, if this vaccine lets me, and I think it looks like a better pure intro.

I definitely don’t want WotC to be in the Darksun adventure hole either.

I sure hope they dont replace the LMoP starter set, I dont mind price inflation. They could reprint with the new rule changes, but please dont remove it. It a really well done, complete, starter set.

It is such a good box.

Not sure what they’ll do. But I’d bet on at least a price bump. Maybe.

Maybe both could survive. Maybe the new box will come down in price.

The LMoP box set has been discontinued, is my understanding. That's why Loat Mines of Phandelver is free on D&D Beyond permanently now.

Pretty disappointed it is thinner than essentials, with no DNDbeyond extras like that. I'll definitely wait for sale pricing now.
