Message: <blockquote data-quote="Tharivious_Meliamne" data-source="post: 2559759">Well, with the apparent desire to see more well played evil around, this plan is coming to fruition at a good time.  I've been working out a storyline using some of the villains from my writing and setting design work, and it's time to kick things off in the coming week or so.I'll probably be running it mainly in the evening and late night hours as that's when I'm around mostly, from about 7 pm EST to 2 or 3 AM EST.  This is an open storyline, but I do have some guidelines that I would like respected by those who do get involved, which are: <ul> <li data-xf-list-type="ul">No godmoding.  While high-powered characters are fine, I don't want to see invulnerable characters showing up.</li> <li data-xf-list-type="ul">Fairplay is the only play.  I don't mean fighting fairly as in no cheap shots or anything like that, I mean take actions that are reasonable and don't make your character invincible.  See my combat guide thread if you want details on that.</li> </ul>Now, I don't mean that I expect anyone to let their characters die in the storyline if they don't want to, just that injuries can happen and spells should have a chance of success.  I gaurantee that I'll be playing by that standard, as will those approved to play higher ups in the group assembled around my main character.The premise that I'll post here is this:I'll be running a relatively new character leading the show for the ones he works for.  I have a player lined up playing his leuitenant as well, so two are in place thus far.  My character is a unique (ie, not of a full fledged race) demon sent by his masters for... something (Any interested parties can email me: see below).  His leuitenant is also a demon (catching a pattern?).  My intent is to make these demons operate as a group to be taken seriously, not just random destruction or acts of violence.  They do have a plan and a purpose, and I aim to guide them as a subtle, cohesive unit of 'chaotic evil' rather than the slapdash and haphazard typical perception of the alignment I've seen.  The rest will unfold as it plays out, after all, demons are highly adaptable. <img src="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/joypixels/assets/8.0/png/unicode/64/1f609.png" class="smilie smilie--emoji" loading="lazy" width="64" height="64" alt=";)" title="Wink    ;)"  data-smilie="2"data-shortname=";)" />If there is enough interest, I'll start up a thread on the Map of the Planes board to serve as a sort of base for the group of villains to prepare and flesh out the characters outside of the chatrooms.What I would like are some players interested in playing on either - or both - sides of things.  Players for demons (which I'd be more than willing to coach if desired), mortal demon-worshippers, and just downright chaotic evil allies would be a big help to getting this thing going for the villain side.  See the link to the Veghinix boards in my sig and below in this post if interested in running a demon, I'll post some more creations there to choose from as far as demon races.Also, anyone interested in playing the opposition on the side of good and righteousness and order and all that fun stuff is more than welcome to join up as we'll certainly need that.Anyone who is interested can email me at <a href="mailto:tharivious_meliamne@hotmail.com">tharivious_meliamne@hotmail.com</a> (Same addy as in my profile) or contact me in PMs in Wizards under the name Emlek'razul for details, and I'll give information as relevant.  Alternatively, you can pop over to <a href="http://s4.invisionfree.com/Veghinix/index.php" target="_blank">my message boards</a> and get a discussion going in the storylines section.Looking forward to getting something going, and I hope to see some people get involved. <img src="http://www.enworld.org/forum/images/smilies/devil.png"  class="smilie" loading="lazy" alt=":devil:" title="Devil    :devil:" data-shortname=":devil:" /></blockquote>
