strange question--google problems?

Has anyone else had a problem with google searches. Everytime I try to use a search that has google as an engine, I get the standard "page cannot be displayed". Other searches work fine that do not use the google engine (Which of course is the best). Anyone else see this or is it probably a local problem?

Well, when I try to go to google.com, or google.ca, or any version of the google site, I get rerouted to a weird page entitled cPanel, which says "There is no website configured at this address."

I've had this problem for a few days now.

I've been doing Google searches all day with no problems. I probably do 10 to 20 every day and have yet to have either of the problems you mention. FYI.

Yep, I just tries to access google with another computer on my network and had no problems. For some reason this computer cannot access any google site. I have never had a problem like this. I checked to make sure I didn't somehow restrict it, and I currently have no blocked sites. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Might be a virus/worm or maybe more likely some adware/spyware/IE plugin
that might be the cause. Run Ad Aware to see if that's it (and if you don't
have Ad Aware or other similar program go to download.com).

I had some similar troubles with some sites in the past (not Google, but the
problem was very much the same as you described) and it turned out to be
some IE plugin that was causing it.

Might be that you're problem is ia security leak in IE. More can be found here on the microsoft site. Just download the patch and see if it solves you're problem.
For more information look here.

Hope this helps. ;)

allanon, thank you very much. That link you sent me to has helped me figure out what it was. Now everything is AOK. I can't thank you enough. I wont go into it, unless someone is having the same problem, or wants to know. If so, just ask, I will explain it, otherwise I wont bug yas with it. Thanks again Allanon and everyone else who helped out!
