Still not sure I can get over Guile's hair but it does seem like they are leaning into the visual silliness while still having semi-serious aspects to the story too. It would be interesting to know whether the relative success of the One Piece live action show felt enlightening to them in this regard.

That one scene and line has had more impact than thousands of movies that were objectively far better films. Art is weird like that.
