D&D 4E Stupid question about 4e implements

Wow. I've gone two years thinking that once you chose (say) orbs, you used those to the exclusion of other implements. I have no idea why I thought this.

The only catch is you need that implement to use the Mastery feature you have. Otherwise... you're totally in the clear like every other class.
