There's also "Merciful Strike", from somewhere, which allows you to use any weapon and subdue with it, at normal attack... I don't recall where it's from, nor what the Prerequisites are, though...

It's a weapon ability in the 3.5 DMG. Before that it was the "Exhausting" ability from MotW, and I think there was a version of it in Magic of Faerun as well.
