Alaxk Knight of Galt

So, my DDI subscription is up. Long ago (months!) I turned off auto-renew. This is the e-mail I got from Wizards about my account about to expire.
Two things
1. If I want to renew, I have to wait until my subscription expires before I do so? That's really odd. You've got all my account info, you can't add more time until the current time ends? What?
2. I'm now forced to use auto-renewal unless I jump through unknown WotC hoops (do I need to call customer service just to turn off auto-renewal?).
Wacky stuff WotC.
To renew your subscription, you'll want to wait 29 days until your subscription is completely finished. You'll have a few days grace period before your access to D&D Insider officially goes away. At that time, please place a new subscription order at [Website].
Please note -- if you want to use Manual Renewal again, you will need to notify Customer Service in order to turn off Auto-Renew on your new purchase. We apologize for this inconvenience and are working on streamlining this process.
