Sucks to be an international subscriber...

Since subscribing in May-2003 I have been waiting to recieve an issue without human intervention.
Typically I have had to chase up customer service for every issue.

Well I finally recieved my first issue by the normal subscription process.

Dragon 312!

On Dec 29, 2003 I recieved on issue that according to the Paizo website shipped to subscribers on Sep 03, 2003.

Thanks to the misery of surface mail, I doubt I will be resubscribing. The few dollars I presumably save is not worth getting issues two months later than the local stores. :(

I completely agree. I get my magazines 2 months late as well, and to think I subscribed to both Dragon and Dungeon even! The $1 I save per issue is sure not worth the 2 months wait. I got tired and went back to buy the magazines from my FLGS and just wait to give the 2 month late extra copy to my friends.

I subscribe through an independent gaming store here in Denmark, and that works like a charm. Paizo sends them a pile of magazines, and they distribute locally. I would assume this is also possible to find in Australia.

The vise preident of Paizo sent them all on there way, asked if I missed any and extended my subscription by two months. I don't think they do it on purpose.

I'm thinking that too. I've been subscribed for a few years now to both Dungeon and Dragon and am thinking of letting it lapse (it's nice that Paizo's website can tell me how long I have though). sigh.

I noticed "international may take 6-8 weeks" FAQ on their FAQ page, which probably means no chance of airmail upgrade (I was previously on airmail though this was before WotC sold the magazines to Paizo). :(
