Suggestion for OGL publishers

Necromancer Games is definately doing a Tome of Horrors for 4e that will fill in the gaps. And yes, it will include frost giants (which per the recent podcase will not be in the initial monster manual).

Its slated for a June/July release. So it will be out pretty darn quick.

My design team is in place and the product has been conceptualized by me with Erik Mona and with Scott Greene, monster guru extraordinaire.

As for "just using the SRD," I repeat that there will likely not be a full SRD available at launch. There wasnt with 3E. That didnt happen for some months.

Also add things like 'iconic foes' to it. Ophidians, Chaostouched frog-like beings, psionic thrallmasters...

Hey, look! It's Fiery Dragon's illujanka and ogdoad!

They are available for free as a web-enhancement to Counter Collection Gold.

I'll probably update them for 4e after the rules become available.

My suggestion for PGL publishers: A 224 page book containing

i) An introduction to a points-of-light setting for which other materials will be published later. A small part of the setting will be well detailed, and in that part will be:

ii) The first 10 levels of an Adventure Path for that setting, the Paragon and Epic sections to come in a later book.

A hypothetical points-of-light setting might be called "The Wilderlands of High Fantasy", say.
