Suggestion Spell

Hi,

I doesnt say in the spell description what happens if you attack a creature that you have given a suggestion to (either from the spell caster or allies). Does the creature simply ignore attacks and continue doing what it has been told to do for as many hours the spell last for?

Suggestion does not stop a creature from defending itself. It merely installs the intention to follow the suggestion.

And the suggestion must be reasonable. Though "reasonable" depends on the character.

For non-fanatical evil enemies, I like to Suggest to the poor will save brute that his side is 'obviously' going to lose anyway, and he should turn on his boss early to get in good with the winning side!
