Suggestions for Wildshaping into a higher HD monster

Normally, a Druid/Shifter can only wildshape to a creature with the same number of HD as him/herself. If a Druid wants to Wildshape into a monster with a larger number of Hit Dice than would normally be allowed, what rules do you guys think should potentally allow this?

thanks for your thoughts,

That is a good question :)

The logical way of doing it would probably be to take the Feat route, ie design feats to improve your capacity at Wildshaping:

Improved Wildshape
Prereq: Wild Shape ability, Con 13
Benefit: The character with the Wildshape ability may Wildshape into a creature of (Level + 3) HD.
Normal: A character with the Wildshape ability may only wildshape into a creature of his level in HD.

Greater Wildshape
Prereq: Wildshape ability, Improved Wildshape, Con 15
Same, but adds another 3HD to the limit

Supreme Wildshape (not very original for a name)
Prereq: Wildshape ability, Improved Wildshape, Greater wildshape, Con 17
Same, but adds another 3HD to the limit.

Just a suggestion.
