Suikoden IV (Semi-spoilers)

So... for one thing I was wondering how many people here were fans of the Suikoden series. So yeah, this is a little self-centered.

But... to keep it on topic somewhat: Some news on Suikoden 4 from the Tokyo Game Show.

According to Konami's USA website, Suikoden 4 will take place 150(!) years before Suikoden 1. That would place it about 132 years before Suikoden 3, and 147 before Suikoden 2. The main True Rune in the game will be the Rune of Punishment, which is sort of like the Rune of Life and Death (Soul Eater) except it takes the life of the bearer instead of the bearer's friends. It takes place in the Island Nations, south of Toran.

What does this mean? Well, for one thing, this severely limits the number of returning characters. Leknaat, Older Viki, and Jeane(!) are the only three confirmed. Non-TR holders that could be in the game include Sigfried (the unicorn from S2), Joshua (S1), Mazus and Crowley, Neclord, and that about wraps it up.

Known TR-holders from the time period include Sierra (Blue Moon), Windy (half of the Gate Rune), Yuber (Eightfold Rune), and Ted (Soul Eater). Note that Luc (True Wind), Sasarai (True Earth), Geddoe (True Lightning), and Barbarosa (Conquerer Rune) will not appear - none of them were born yet. Others may or may not appear. Obviously none of the heroes from the other games will show up - none of them are born yet.

Which battle is it? The one with Sera or Yuber? Both of them were extremely tough... who are you using for each of them? There's an extremely easy way to beat Yuber... not so much one with Sera.
